Community Guidelines

Renwer is built for communities of all kinds. These guidelines exist to keep the platform safe, welcoming, and enjoyable for everyone. They apply to all users across all servers, channels, direct messages, and voice chat.

Violating these guidelines may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from the platform.

1. Respect Others

• Do not harass, bully, threaten, or intimidate other users
• Do not engage in hate speech or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic
• Do not doxx or share another person's private information without their consent
• Do not send unsolicited or unwanted messages, friend requests, or server invites to users who have asked you to stop

2. Keep Content Legal and Appropriate

• Do not share content that is illegal in your jurisdiction
• Do not share or distribute child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — this results in an immediate permanent ban and a report to the relevant authorities
• Do not share non-consensual intimate imagery
• NSFW content must only be shared in channels explicitly marked as age-restricted by server moderators
• Do not share content that promotes or glorifies violence, self-harm, or terrorism

3. No Spam or Manipulation

• Do not send repetitive, unsolicited, or automated messages
• Do not use the platform to distribute scams, phishing links, or malware
• Do not artificially inflate server membership through deceptive means
• Do not impersonate other users, public figures, or Renwer staff

4. Protect the Platform

• Do not attempt to exploit bugs, vulnerabilities, or unintended behavior in the Service — report them instead
• Do not use bots, scripts, or automated tools to abuse the Service or degrade its performance
• Do not circumvent moderation actions such as bans or mutes by creating new accounts

5. Server Moderation

Server owners and moderators are responsible for enforcing their own rules within their communities. However, all servers must still comply with these Community Guidelines and our Terms of Service. Servers that exist primarily to violate these guidelines will be removed.

6. Voice and Video Conduct

• Do not use voice or video channels to harass, threaten, or disturb other participants
• Do not play loud, disruptive, or offensive audio intentionally
• Do not record other users' voice or video without their knowledge and consent

7. Reporting Violations

If you encounter behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it. You can report users, messages, and servers through the app, or contact us at [email protected]. We review all reports and take action where appropriate.

8. Enforcement

We enforce these guidelines based on the severity and context of the violation. Actions we may take include:

• Issuing a warning
• Temporarily suspending your account
• Permanently banning your account
• Removing servers or content
• Reporting illegal activity to law enforcement

We aim to be fair and consistent, but we reserve the right to take any action we deem necessary to protect the community.
